ParrotPad is built by a small team of language learners who’ve struggled for years with traditional methods.
We wanted something simple that actually helped us speak the language. So we stripped everything back, got rid of the gimmicks, and focused on what works: repetition.
Along the way, ParrotPad has helped us overcome three big challenges:
Expressing ourselves
We didn’t want to repeat phrases like “the man wears a blue hat.” We wanted to practice the words we’d actually use, to order food we like, chat with family, or share what we love. With ParrotPad, we can rehearse the lines that matter to us.
Learning on the go
As curious, active learners, we travel a lot. We wanted a tool we could use hands-free, without being glued to a screen. With ParrotPad, you can close your device, slip it in your pocket, and still be practicing your lines.
Avoiding overwhelm
With so many resources out there, we were wasting energy deciding what to focus on. ParrotPad gave us a place to collect the phrases that mattered, so we could relax, enjoy content again, and know our lines were safe and easy to revisit.
For us, this tool has been a gamechanger. It’s already changed how we learn, and we’re excited about the languages we’ll explore next.
Right now, we’re looking for early testers who share these same struggles, people who want a simpler, more direct way to practice and express themselves.
